We're now certified for the higher level of Cyber Essentials Plus! Cyber Essentials is a government-backed scheme to help businesses protect themselves from cyber security incidents.

Developed by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), it aims to help companies develop a more secure network and protection against around 80% of basic cyber security breaches.

Cyber Essentials Plus is the highest level of certification offered by the scheme. Firstly we had to complete an online assessment followed by an audit of our systems, including all internet gateways and any servers accessible to unauthenticated internet users. 

The technical audit of our systems included an external vulnerability assessment with penetration testing for basic hacking, an internal scan and an on-site assessment.

Cyber security experts carried out hands-on technical tests on a selection of our systems to make sure that we're protected against basic hacking and phishing attacks.
