Every year Crewkerne hosts a day of Fun Runs, organised by Crewkerne Running Club, and a 5k business challenge, sponsored this year by our clients, Stoke Partners.  

The main event was 10K, with a 5K Fun Run and Junior Fun Run for kids. Proceeds went to support local charity, School in a Bag, to provide essential school equipment for impoverished children all over the world. 

We took a team of three; Najeeb, Simon and Lucas. All hardened runners with an eye on the prize (unfortunately Lucas closed his for the photo). 

Starting at Crewkerne Town Hall on a glorious sunny day, the route took us out of the town through quiet roads and up a few hills through the picturesque villages of Merriott and Hinton St George. The finish line was outside of Oscar's Wine Bar, Crewkerne. This thought certainly kept our runners motivated to get back quickly. 

Despite the heat, we toughed out the other competition to win the 5K Business Challenge and take home the coveted trophy. Well done, gents! 

We'll be back to defend our title next year.
