What We Did?
Initially, we weighed up Peachey & Co's competing priorities and proposed a solution to match their unique requirements.
We designed a hybrid infrastructure with email powered by Microsoft Office 365, Citrix file sharing for remote working and Dell Enterprise on-premise hardware for their legacy practice management software.
Our team quickly built and supplied their new on-premise server. Once complete, we began to prepare their migration to the cloud just as the UK lockdown came into effect.
To mitigate any risk or impact to their company, we had to react swiftly to the unprecedented circumstances. The rest of their IT infrastructure refresh had to be actioned remotely whilst following government guidance on social distancing.
We remotely configured their cloud-back up infrastructure, plus reconfigured all the computers to work with their new hybrid infrastructure. To minimise the time spent on-site, all our work was completed in one-day. Our team were constantly on hand for questions and remote problem-solving.
Peachey & Co's hybrid design has significantly reduced monthly IT expenditure. They gained many features geared towards security and data protection. Plus daily back-ups of their data and remote access to files they'd need during the lockdown.

Why Us?
Peachey & Co were planning on updating their practice management system to Leap and would need to securely retain access to old information.
They were also using an expensive hosted remote desktop environment that would soon be incompatible with their new practice management system.
Peachey & Co found themselves with a problem: They needed the flexibility of a cloud infrastructure but had to maintain on-premise hardware for legacy practice management software.
