What We Did?
Initially, we coordinated with Modus’ previous owner on the secure transferral and cleansing of data from their systems.
Once in possession of their previous data and software systems, we set up Modus' basic IT infrastructure to work in harmony with OneAdvent. This included email migration to Office 365, setting up remote working and installing Citrix Virtual XenApp desktops. The team at Modus was only without their email for two hours.
Once Modus was integrated onto OneAdvent's infrastructure, we needed to do the same from a software perspective. Our team already had explicit knowledge of OneAdvent’s architecture and quickly gained an understanding of Modus' priorities. The actual integration involved extracting data from one system, putting in the other and testing to ensure it works.
Careful coordination, communication and planning from all parties kept the business acquisition process running smoothly and moving forward. With our team on hand, we successfully mitigated any risk or loss to their business with a seamless IT integration. Now on OneAdvent's platform, Modus Underwriting can springboard into an exciting period of growth in their new partnership.
